It is no more news that the economic and financial crimes commission is on a wild goose chase as it remains resolute in its decision to rid the country of corrupt practices. The recent of such chase has been the Dokpesi and Dasuki saga, it is in this regard that the Managing director / editor in chief Sun Newspaper has decided to return the sum of 9 million naira back to the NSA. It could be recalled that the NSA has paid 120 million as compensation to newspaper companies for the unlawful seizure of their newspapers and stoppage of circulation by armed soldiers in several cities across the country in June 2014 to NPAN.
A big question still arises to what end was this done, and is this hypocrisy or fear of the hangs man
