GUNMEN KIDNAP GOV. SISTER, COMMISSIONER

The Bayelsa state commissioner for Local Government Madam Serfina Otazi has been kidnapped. Mr Patrick Oba speaking on behalf of the family confirmed the incident which took place at gun point on her way to attend a funeral at Ewoi Community in Ogbia Local Government Area, another Family confirmed that the commissioner was abducted in company of
two women and that report has been filed to the police.

This news comes barely a day after the police in Bayelsa State have confirmed the kidnap of Miss Nancy Dickson, younger sister of the state Governor, Nancy, 26, who was said to be the last child of the Dicksons, was abducted from her shop on Okaka Road, Yenagoa, the state capital. Reports reveal that the Police has begun stop and search on vehicles in the state capital to track down the criminals.
