    Griselda Blanco born in Cartegena, Colombia on Feb 15, 1943 earned her net worth as one of the largest distributors of cocaine throughout the country in the 70's and 80's. She was also one of the most murderous crime bosses of all time who was responsible for the murder of men, women and children, many of who were involved in the drug business others were completely innocent. She became known as the black widow after two of her husbands died under myterious circumstances. 



     Joaquin Guzman Loera known as El Chapo Guzman because of his short stature as he is barely 5ft 6" tall, is a mexican born former drug kingpin who had a peak net worth of $1 billion dollars, and is the former head of the Sinola Drug cartel. El Chapo was arrested in Guatemala in 1993 and sentenced to 20 years in a Mexican prison. He successfully managed to bribe several guards and escaped in 2001. Despite there being a $5 million bounty on his head from American law enforcement, El Chapo managed to elude capture for more than a decade. He was finally arrested on February 22, 2014 at a beach resort in Mazatlan, Mexico. In July 2015, he escaped from prison and went on the run until he was captured again on January 8, 2016.

A businessman and arms dealer, Adnan Khashoggi was briefly listed as the richest person in the world in the early 1980s when his net worth was estimated at $2 billion dollars. Adnan Khashoggi was intimately involved in both the Iran-Contra scandal and the Lockheed bribery scandal. He was also the catalyst for a series of bankruptcies that required the largest payout in the history of the Securities Investor Protection Corporation. Khashoggi was born in Mecca, Saudi Arabia in July 1935. His father was the personal doctor to King Abdul Aziz Al Saud. He studied at Victoria College in Egypt, as well as California State University, Chico, Ohio State, and Stanford. He was the head of the Triad Holding Company which built the Triad Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was an arms dealer who brokered deals between the U.S. and Saudi government. His clients included Lockheed Corporation, Grumman Aircraft Engineering Corporation, Raytheon, and Northrop Corporation. He received $106 million in commissions from Lockheed between 1970 and 1975.
