BELGIUM WEEPS

To some it was an act of war to others it was more than that it was an act of terror, this brings to light the number of terrorist acts to three in Europe.It began in November with the Paris attacks. Then came raids, arrests and manhunts in France and Belgium to find the terrorists. On Tuesday, deadly blasts hit Belgium.  Brussels was laid siege in the early hours of Tuesday as twin bomb attacks were carrried out in
the Brussels airport and a subway in the country's capital. At the time of this report the death toll had been estimated to be a little below 30 with the injury rate at 115 persons. Although it is hard to say the extent of the damage on the economy, all that can be said is that public transportation in and out of Brussels has been put to a halt with a ban on air transport in and around Belgium.
The country has also recieved condolence messages from various world presidents one of such is the French Prime Minister who had this to say in his tweet “I express my entire solidarity with the Belgian people. Through the Brussels attacks, the whole of Europe has been hit.”

As rescue continues to go on, world leaders are of the opinion that the war on terror is not over. Meanwhile ISIS has taking responsibility for the bombings, many are of the opinion that it was a way to free one of its members earlier arrested Salah Abdeslam who authorites revealed is not held in Brussels but in a high security prison in Brugges.
In the mean time the general public have been warned to be vigilant and stay in their homes so as not to disturb ongoing investigations.
